Project Overview
This project involves a comprehensive refurbishment and partial reconstruction aimed at enhancing both the internal and external elements of the school. Key features of the scope include partial reconstruction of the double brick façade, critical ground stabilisation efforts, and detailed interior refurbishments, which incorporate updated joinery work.
Externally, improvements focus on civil drainage installation along the southern boundary, as well as the creation of new garden beds and landscaping. Internally, the refurbishments are concentrated in the Administration area, the corridor, and two key teaching spaces. These upgrades are designed to enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the school, while maintaining a conducive learning environment.
Currently underway, this five-month project is focused on making significant improvements while keeping the school operational. The live school environment presents unique challenges, particularly with scheduling and safety considerations, but our experienced team is rising to the occasion through strategic planning and effective communication.
Working closely with school administrators, we are prioritising the well-being of students, staff, and the surrounding community by implementing thoughtful traffic management plans, scheduling noisy work during school breaks, and ensuring minimal disruption to daily routines. Through a combination of collaboration, problem-solving, and careful planning, this project is set to transform the school while maintaining the flow of learning.
