The project focuses on revitalising the facility to meet current user expectations while preserving its community appeal. Works include the refurbishment of existing change rooms and amenities, rejuvenation of the toddler play pool area, and improvements to spectator zones for added comfort.
Accessibility is prioritised through the installation of a new accessible BBQ, upgraded walkways, and compliant paths of travel across the site. The swimming club room is also being improved to better support local sporting groups. In addition, new plant equipment is being installed to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely into the future.
