Exemplo were engaged to deliver a refurbishment project at Deakin University’s Burwood Campus, Building C, which comprised targeted refurbishment works aimed at improving both safety and amenity across key areas.

Level 7 underwent a full carpet replacement to address significant wear and tear, with the existing broadloom carpet removed and new finishes installed throughout the corridor. Additionally, the exposed concrete walls surrounding the lift cores on Levels 2–6 were upgraded, replacing the unfinished surfaces with a durable, low-maintenance finish that delivers an improved aesthetic outcome.

 As these levels remained fully operational throughout the project, careful planning and staged delivery were essential to ensure the safety of Deakin staff and to minimise disruption to day-to-day activities.
