We’re excited to share that construction of Sunbury’s brand-new waterplay area and splash pad is officially complete! This vibrant community project was delivered on time and is now getting ready to open for the upcoming summer season.
In September last year, we celebrated the project’s official launch with a Sod Turning Ceremony, joined by council and government representatives. Now, less than a year later, we’re proud to see that vision fully realised – just in time for families to enjoy in the warmer months ahead.
Built by our dedicated aquatics team and skilled subcontractors, the completed space features:
💦 Soft, slip-resistant surfaces for safe water play
💦 Exciting slides and interactive spray features for all ages
💦 Improved accessibility and new shaded seating for comfort
💦 Unique design elements including a colourful aqua dome and a fun garden bug feature
This waterplay area isn’t just a place to cool off – it’s a purpose-built space that brings the community together and encourages active outdoor fun.
We’d like to thank Hume City Council for trusting Exemplo Constructions to deliver this meaningful project. It’s been a privilege to be part of a development that reflects the spirit and voice of Sunbury.
