After months of hard work, the Exemplo Constructions team has successfully completed their multi-million dollar refurbishment of the Prahran Aquatic Centre. Commissioned by the City of Stonnington, the project commenced in July 2023 and wrapped up right on schedule in October 2023. Hitting this deadline meant the beloved social hub opened in the height of Spring, allowing patrons to take full advantage of the warm, sunny weather.
This was the centre’s first major update since the mid-90s.Exemplo‘s specialised team of experienced tradespeople were up for the challenge. Safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal were the core elements they focused on for the Prahran Aquatic Centre upgrade. Led by Managing Director Lakshu Adaikalavan, the Exemplo team refurbished the outdoor 50-metre pool, and toddler pool upgraded the indoor facilities, completely renovated the change rooms, brought in contemporary design aesthetics, and improved accessibility throughout the facility.
The transformation will be immediately apparent to patrons as they explore the new and improved features in the aquatic centre. Inside, they’ll be greeted by beautiful, refreshed spaces for meeting, socialising, swimming, lounging, and relaxing. The enhanced environment and updated features create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere where patrons feel truly valued.
As a community-focused construction team dedicated to partnering for excellence, Exemplo created every one of these upgrades using efficient equipment and lighting. The team also worked diligently to minimise the disruption for locals.
